Please don't think as if the IV guys walk in and talk and there you go.... the change is in effect.
It takes a lot to get the fixes like these.
Moreover , do not donate with the "IF" condition. Just donate and trust IV , everyone is working as hard ,to get the relief in any way possible for the guys in the line.
SO JUST DON'T WAIT AND START DONATING.

Hi,
I applied for labor certification in Dec2004 .I got a 45 day letter 6 months back.My application in Philadelphia back log center.When i am seeing the status it is showing IN PROCESS.Can anyone tell me what will be the time frame after receiving 45 day letter.Intially i applied from FLORIDA.Can anyone tell me wat is current processing time.

Don't forget the education is the biggest business in U.S.A and the immigration is the second one, thats what I learned from my 5 years experience. Both businesses dragging money from foreign ppl (International student has to pay 3-4 times more than local).

I personally have nothing against anyone in core team and feel that these guys been doing their best effort to help the community. But their strategy is flawed. We are not aligned with right people and we don't speak up. We don't followup and hit hard on people who are working against our agenda. When illegal immigrant community can get media limelight , why we cannot ? We were all banking on democrats to help us and here is the result. We as IV ans need to wake up and start working closely with pro-business community. We need to approach media to bash anyone who uses race, national orign as a medium to undermine our long term agenda.
We all have the track record for IV till this date and we have not accomplished anything from July 07.We don't have media coverage and no one in political circle knows IV as a viable organization . If media coverage calls for doing something out of box to attract media attention , let's do it. We sent flowers, we attracted media attention. I have some agressive ideas and I can share in a private forum ( Just to keep numbersusa away :-))

For everyone's information, I was one of the IV MA chapter leadership team members from 07-08. Was there for July 07 and for the rally. Lately there is no energy left in that chapter. Conference calls are full of people who have nothing but idealism. Other than one or two IV MA members , rest all of them is waste of time. So I find it useless to stick with status quo. A new core leadership team promising aggressive agenda will bring in life to IV.

In that sense we are all in the SAME BOAT. Be specific about the point you are trying to make instead of blanketing all H1B and GC aspirants so that its not confusing or misleading to others.
Well,If you think that it was a cheap attempt, then i belive you need tutoring in english first, i would have appreciated if you would have read the full documents first, if you are not in the same boat as others doesnot means that others are not, there are still many H1 holders whose spouse doesnot have a SSN and only ITIN, and i am not over or below quoting the statement made by IRS.

i dont get it..why r folks so happy...i agree its current till 06..but that does not mean that people are goin to get green cards...it just means that till 06 whoever had not got a chance to apply for 485 can now apply...congrats to them...but i beleive there are not many people like that..

Everyone can apply until August 17, but in the August VB, all the categories are U, which means no one is current and who knows when that will change. When processing, theoretically RD it's important, but when you get to the stage of being approved, you'll actually be approved only if your PD will be current at that time. Don't count too much on any guidelines, because some people get approved in weeks,others in years. Good luck.

Didn't realise they now have a PERM backlog center. I thought baclkog centers were only for traditional and RIR labours, I guess there is no end to the circus of immigration life.

You maybe right. Visa numbers are being wasted because of the pressure being put by people wanting their notices. So many people are calling everyday distracting the USCIS employees. Intead of blaming USCIS for it, tracker thread people should also introspect and also be willing to share some of the blame. :D

If indeed the ratio is 1%, then things are very dire, since with the economy as it is, we probably will not see any expansion in EB immigration in the near term.
Additionally the L1-EB1 route as multinational manager is very much alive and well, and is arguably the preferred and probably only viable route for any Indian prospectively attempting to immigrate to the USA. The numbers of such applicants might be larger than we know. If anyone has any data on that and specifically about the change in those numbers ever since retrogression hit, please post it.
In all honesty, I know the guys applying anew need a little hope and encouragement, but with perhaps 300K people and rising ahead of you in the EB India queue and slim to none chance of EB expansion in the near term, what are the odds of getting through that line in the next decade?

You make it sound like they care about you and are doing this slowly to get everybody on board, sorry to burst the bubble but chances are they were able to apply the right pressure at the right places and get this passed.

This is the first receipt i am noticing for an application received on July 2nd at 7:55AM and signed by R. Williams.
All other recipts so far were either received at 9 AM or 10:25 Am or so (july 2nd, 3rd, 5th etc) but none of them were at 7:55 AM.
Signature has all relevant information.
